Featuring:
  • Superformance GT40: A quality re-creation of the original that beat Ferrari and finished in the top three positions at Le Mans in 1966. In developing the exhilarating SPF GT40, engineers went to great lengths to ensure authenticity. So authentic, that we can legally use the name “GT40”.  Our engineers are proud of their results in creating this authentic continuation of the GT 40 MK II that finished first, second, and third in the grueling 24 Hours at Le Mans in 1966. After four years in development, production on this exclusive model began, with careful attention to detail Superformance incorporated the original style monocoque chassis and a pressed steel roof. So exact is the GT40 continuation that over two thirds of the vehicle's parts are interchangeable with the original car and chassis. The GT40 Continuation also carries the GT40 "P" chassis number and is eligible for the GT40 registry. The versions that are currently offered are the MKI or MKII "A" and "B" body styles, available in right or left hand drive, and have a curb weight of 2400 lbs.  The chassis is an exact replication of the original monococque unibody structure down to the press steel roof spider. The only departure is the use of electro-galvanized sheet steel in the construction. The chassis, at over 12,000 pounds per degree is stiffer than any other chassis on the market, and is made up of over 244 laser cut and bent or pressed parts. The GT40 continuation accurately replicates the original chassis, suspension, wheel hubs, uprights, pedal box, instruments, steering, dash, "bundle of snakes" headers, catches and latches to name a but a few.
  • Superformance MKIII: What makes the MKIII so much better than its competitors? It looks like an exact replica should. It is aesthetically and dimensionally correct. It is sure-footed and reliable and is as exciting as the great sport roadsters of the sixties. Each rolling chassis comes completely assembled and painted, less engine and transmission. The Superformance MkIII is the only Shelby 427 S/C reproduction manufactured under license by Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc.
  • Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe: The original six Daytona Cobra Coupe factory racers enjoyed a short but impressive racing career: Originally built for the 1964-65 racing season using 289 Shelby Cobra roadster chassis', these were America's answer to Ferrari's highly successful 250 GTO. In their first year of competition, the Daytona Coupes won the GT class at Sebring, and placed 1st in class and 4th overall at LeMans. They proved to be so competitive that Ferrari officials, fearing a loss of the championship, managed to get the Monza, Italy final round cancelled, knowing the Daytona’s would win the race and the Championship. Consequently, Ferrari claimed the 1964 FIA World Manufacturer's Championship. The following year Enzo Ferrari, realizing he would lose to the Daytona’s, pulled his factory support from the GT program, paving the way for the Daytona Coupe walkover. In 1965, the ex-Shelby Daytona Coupes of the UK's Alan Mann racing team won the FIA's World Manufacturer's GT title with ease.  Almost 40 years later, Superformance has re-created this nostalgic player in American racing history. Built under license with Carroll Shelby, it was designed by some of the original team, including Peter Brock and Bob Negstad. The Coupe boasts amazingly sleek lines and a contoured body, which is slightly larger than that of the original race car. The original suspension was further improved and the interior space was optimized for more room. Adding value to this impressive Daytona is the fact that it is also eligible for the Shelby American Automobile Club owners registry, capturing each chassis number as a part of American history.  The Superformance Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, as it is now named, allows today's enthusiast driver to experience the thrill of the original racecar in a smoother, safer, and truly exhilarating modern sports GT car.
